Facebook allows its users to back up all their photos, videos and text. Here's a step-by-step guide.
First, log in to your account, then click on the icon in the upper right corner of the blue bar above. Click Account Settings again.
This will take you to General Account Settings ... Download a copy of your Facebook data at the bottom of the Name and Username box in the middle. Click on Download a copy.
Download Your Information will appear as shown in the picture. Click on the green Start My Archive button again.
You will be asked for your password, enter your password and a message will appear asking you to take some time to gather all your information.
When you are ready to download your information, you will receive an email. If you follow the link in that email, all your personal information will be compressed into a .zip file for easy download.
